The Green Chemistry and Commerce Council organizes an Innovators Roundtable |

The Green Chemistry and Commerce Council (GC3) is a group of business, academic, government, and NGO representatives working to promote and support green chemistry and design for environment (DfE) research, practices and purchases in the US among states, federal agencies and other companies. This year will be the 4th roundtable discussion which will build on the successes of past meetings as well as work done within the GC3 working groups over the past year.
The meeting will be held on May 4-6, 2009, in Broomfield, Colorado.
Discussion topics will include:
- New Politics: Chemicals Policy in the Obama Administration;
- Dialogs Up and Down the Supply Chain: Challenges of Getting Safer Products to the Market Place;
- Trade Groups as Leaders in Advancing Green Chemistry and Design for Environment;
- Product Chemicals Management: Best Practices in the Retail Industry;
- Environmental Priorities in the Obama Administration;
- Using REACH Compliance to Advance Green Chemistry and DfE: Challenges and Opportunities Ahead; and
- Meeting Today's Chemicals Management Challenges with New Approaches and Collaborations.
